Native Whitetail Hunting

We own, lease, and operate over 600+ acres of property and offer native Whitetail and Eastern Turkey in accordance with Ohio Department of Wildlife seasons. For native Whitetail hunts we have 16 tree stands (most of the stands are double 2-man stands) and our experienced guides will help you in and out of the stands and areas in search of your trophy animal. Ohio is an over the counter state so you can purchase your Ohio hunting license and deer tags on-line - no draw and no lottery.

In past years we have had several trophy Whitetail that score anywhere from 130-165.  Despite its geographical size, Vinton County consistently ranks in the top 10 deer counties in the state of Ohio and   the deer are large bodied specimens.  Every one of our stands is maintained with corn and a salt lick to help you attract that trophy Whitetail.  We rotate and maintain game cameras on all of the stands and we constantly see large groups of deer as well as the occasional fox, raccoon, and coyote.

Bow Season $200/day Includes Lodging and home cooked dinner each day.

Any Gun Season $250/day Includes Lodging and home cooked dinner each day.

(Shotgun or Muzzleloader)

We are located in Zone C and for the 2015-2016 Hunting Season, the Ohio DNR bag limits were 1 Buck (Antlered Deer with 1 or more Antlers larger than 3”) and up to 3 Does.

What to Expect

Arrive the night before you hunt so we can show you the stands and you can decide on where to hunt in the morning and we have a shooting range where you can sight in your bow/shotgun/muzzle loader.  Then in the morning, we will take you to your stand and the hunt begins.

We will provide you with a hunter safety harness and all of our stands have drop ropes so you can safely get in and out of the stands.  When you have an animal down and are ready; give us a call at the lodge and one of the guides will pick you up and help you retrieve the animal.  If needed, our guides will help you field dress, skin, cape, and quarter your trophy.  We do not charge for this service; however, the guides appreciate and accept tips.

We have a walk in cooler to keep your trophy and when it is time to go we have ice on-site for purchase ($2/bag) and will help you pack your cooler and get you on your way.

Come hunt with us and experience the best Southern Ohio hunting and hospitality.
