For years, we have been asked about doing bachelor party hunts where the groom-to-be and his groomsmen could come and hunt some hogs, spend the night, and party. We are pleased to announce that we now offer this special event on our preserve! We are available any day of the week to accommodate you and your party (of up to 6). Arrive at the lodge at 9:00 am on the day of your hunt, enjoy lunch and supper cooked from our wild game selections, and spend your evening relaxing at the lodge. This is a BYOB (bring your own beer) event, and no drinking will be tolerated until your hunt has concluded.
A $500 deposit is due at the moment of booking. This deposit will be returned to the groom the morning that you leave after an inspection is made of the lodge and all adjacent property by the owners. Everything must be exactly as it was when your party arrived. If it is not, part or all of the $500 deposit will be used to rectify any problems.
The total cost of the event is $1350 for a week day and night or $1650 for a weekend day and night, due the morning you arrive. If you also book your wedding and reception with us, the price for your bachelor party (with one hog) will be $1200.
Each extra hog harvested at the party will be an extra $500 each. Please contact us with any questions you might have and we will make your event the memory of a lifetime!
Additionally, we are now also a wedding and wedding reception venue! We provide a beautiful backdrop for your love story in the hills of southeastern Ohio, complete with hog meat smoked by us (from an animal which you or your spouse will have killed) as well as complete catering covered by our staff for your entire reception.
