We offer comfortable and spacious lodging with a dining area, recreation room, hot showers, and central air conditioning.
Lodging is $50.00 per day and per hunter including meals, which consist of three big, home-cooked meals per day, beginning with breakfast the morning after you arrive (unless previous arrangements are made). You will be eating our wild boar, bison, Watusi, fallow deer, red deer, longhorn, or Scottish highlander that we make daily while you are here.
We provide washcloths, towels, bedding, and pillows.
Arrival time is 7 pm or after the day prior to your scheduled hunt, again, unless other arrangements are made. We do not provide supper the night before a hunt. You are welcome to show up the morning of your hunt at 9 AM, but if you choose not to stay in our lodge then we will assume that you also do NOT want to partake of meals while you are here. If this is not the case, and you would like a meal, you MUST tell us ahead of time so that we can be ready to prepare it.
A general store is located less than 2 miles from the Southern Ohio Hunting Preserve, although we recommend you bring your own personal items and apparel.
We also have a taxidermist on staff, as well as a walk-in cooler, in addition to your guide. We will provide transportation during the hunt as well. We do NOT offer an overnight butchering service. Harvested wild animals should be aged before they are cut, packaged, and wrapped. We age our animals about a week, making the meat much more tender and palatable. Due to COVID-19, it may be difficult to find butcher shops to process your meat. We will ONLY process our customers’ meat. We will age, process, and vacuum seal it for you. Please ask us for prices for particular animals!
Field dressing and skinning is included in the price of your hunt. If we do NOT process your meat, we can also quarter and package your meat (with ice) into coolers you have provided, free of charge.
