On our hunting preserve, you only pay for what you harvest. However, if you hunt on our preserve and have the opportunity to harvest the animal you have paid your deposit for, but choose not to do so, you will then be charged a $150 no-kill fee. You will also lose the deposit that you paid for that particular animal. This does fee cannot be used to pay for meals and lodging.
If you are promised a discount for a group rate, or for booking a hunt at a particular time, your discount will not be honored if you change your original date or if the number of hunters in your group changes.
DEPOSITS: A $100.00 deposit per animal to be hunted is due upon booking. Whitetails and other special-order animals may require a deposit of larger than $100. This deposit is not refundable but may be used for rescheduling according to availability and at the owner’s discretion within 60 days of your original hunt date. Your deposit is for the animal to be harvested and cannot be used towards meals and lodging. The amount of your deposit will, of course, come off of the cost of your hunt.
WE NO LONGER ACCEPT CARDS AS PAYMENT: We do accept checks or money orders for deposits, and either cash or pre-approved checks for the hunt.
NON-HUNTER FEE: There will be a $100.00/day non-hunter fee charged to any member of a party who participates in activities on the preserve but does not harvest an animal — including the first night’s lodging and the next day’s meals. This fee covers the non-hunter’s participation and their meals/lodging for that day. We require the names of all non-hunters prior to your arrival on site.
*EXCEPTIONS TO THE NON-HUNTER FEE: The spouse of the hunter, a parent, a grandparent, child, grandchild, or anyone else who calls prior to arriving on site with the desire to participate on the preserve but not harvest an animal will be charged $100 instead of $50 for meals and lodging of the non-hunter. This will allow them to participate in all of the activities on and off of the preserve.
